uninspired - for a reason

School has been so busy, even fashion blogs have became a luxury.

Even more scary, since I now spend most of the day in the lab, so it doesn't matter how I look. I'm actually intentionally trying to dress down all the time, and wear less favourite clothes because I don't want to ruin them with chemicals/bacteria I work with in the lab.

I thought I'd more excited about the Versace/H&M collection, but I'm not. The only dress I liked in person was this one, I really like the details on the hem, reminds me of all the Greek goddesses. Tho the slight punk rendition at the release is also pretty cool.

I am, however, really looking forward to the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, I'm such a girlie girl. =)

Karlie Kloss is my fav at the moment. 

November Inspiration - nails

Been really into nail designs lately. Here are some inspirations for fall nails:

1. Neutral for Fall. 

Pale pink and autumn leave brown, what I love most about this one is the checker patterns, reminds me of boucle bags.

2. Silver foil is a bit too flashy for me. This gold sheen,on the other hand, is much more work friendly. Understated elegance. 

Or dress it up a bit with a french tip. 

3. If I wasn't working, I'd totally have more colour on the nails. 

These two remind me of the Chanel-Byzantine collection. Mosaic + texture give depth. 

4. Gold, Pink, Leopard. Classic. 

 

5. This is a look I've been sporting lately. The colour combos are:

FALL LEAVES

 

We went to the botanical garden the other day, crispy day above, crunchy leaves underneath. All the colours blend and contrast so nicely. I didn't want to disturb the palette, so I wore grey, and softened it up with some pastel pink. Pink and grey are the most abundant colours in my wardrobe.

I always keep my computer desktop as bare as possible, b/c clean space = clean mind.

However, once in a while, I love a picture so much, I do keep it on my desktop, and this month, I have three.
