Flakie Nail - take two
I did this combination for Chinese New Year, love wearing red during the holidays.
For some reason, I'm always for square bottles these days. They make storage much easier.
Using "Stiletto Red" from Rimmel with "Shine of the times" from Essie luxeffects.

Flakie Nails
Finally got a new camera, and I can start putting up more original material. I always wonder who's behind the lens in those fashion blogs, do they just follow the bloggers around? and how can I get one for myself?
Anywho, nail of the day posts are so much easier. Here's one look I enjoy year round, nude base colour with tiny flakes. I'm using "Polished" from Revlon as base, and "Nubar2010" from Nubar as topcoat. I'm so happy with how the photo of bottle turned out.

Essie is also coming up with their version of the flakie topcoat called "Shine of the Times", from what I've read, it is a much denser packed bottle. I took these pictures from the internet, how gorgeous is this blue!

November Inspiration - nails
Been really into nail designs lately. Here are some inspirations for fall nails:
1. Neutral for Fall.
Pale pink and autumn leave brown, what I love most about this one is the checker patterns, reminds me of boucle bags.
2. Silver foil is a bit too flashy for me. This gold sheen,on the other hand, is much more work friendly. Understated elegance.
Or dress it up a bit with a french tip.
3. If I wasn't working, I'd totally have more colour on the nails.
These two remind me of the Chanel-Byzantine collection. Mosaic + texture give depth.
4. Gold, Pink, Leopard. Classic.
5. This is a look I've been sporting lately. The colour combos are:
(OPI for Sephora) Havanna Dreams + (OPI for Sephora) Flurry Up.

FRENCH NAIL WITH A TWIST
Did my nails today, these are the polishes I used, except for the white. (reason being it came with an extremely thin brush tip that I'm not used to) The inspiration was this tassel I have, golden tip, pinky tassel. So feminine, so chic.
Pink and gold are my favourite colours lately. As seen in yesterday's outfit.
Are you good with at home nail designs? I always stick to a few designs: this one, red, and solid colours with simple design on the ring finger. Lately I have realized the importance of top coat, they can change up a look so easily!
Sally Hansen 4-in-1 treatment
OPI: heart throb
OPI: up front and person
A lot of people like using a nude colour as base for their french mani, but using a pink jelly colour like OPI's Heart Throb will actually make your nail look healthier!
